Compliance Officer
A leading Financial Services firm are seeking a Compliance Officer for a permanent position based in Dublin. The successful candidate will be a part of the Monitoring team within the compliance division.
Key responsibilities of the Compliance Officer:

Actively participate in the Compliance Monitoring programme.

Oversee and complete regular departmental and thematic compliance monitoring reviews across relevant business areas
-
Ensure all processes are being undertaken in accordance with regulations and company processes.

Aid in the reporting of findings arising from the completion of the compliance monitoring programme, and present to relevant stakeholders in a timely manner.

Conduct minute taking as required and prepare committee packs.
-
Build lasting relationships with all colleagues, regulators and other stakeholders.

Support the Compliance Team in all day to day compliance queries
Key requirements of the Compliance Officer:
-
Minimum Bachelor’s degree within a relevant Business/Legal area
-
At least 2 year’s work experience within Financial Services in a Compliance related area

Knowledge of Mifid an advantage
-
Highly proficient in all MS Office platforms
-
Currently completing or willing to complete the LCOI Professional Diploma
-
Strong interpersonal skills with good ability to work as part of a team

Strong communication ability
-
Good knowledge of financial services and stockbroking
