Prudential Compliance Specialist
A leading Financial Services Banking firm based in Dublin are seeking a Prudential Compliance Specialist for a permanent full-time role. You will be required to oversee the structures to track prudential compliance, assess the impact of new prudential regulations, and oversee first and second line owners to ensure they fulfil prudential regulatory obligations. Another key area will be supporting the implementation of the upstream element of a new GRC risk system, designed to manage Upstream Risk.
Key responsibilities of the Prudential Compliance Specialist:

Identify and analyse prudential regulation, tracking ownership and implementation of relevant prudential regulations through the process

Use the GRC system to co-ordinate and manage the weekly review of new regulations within the team

Complete analysis on any gaps within relevant legislation

Aid in report preparation for Senior officials i.e. Quarterly Upstream Report, Head of Compliance Report etc.

Manage the Prudential Regulation database, within the GRC System.

Assist with tracking action points raised through Monitoring Reviews, Regulators, Internal Audit and Executives to ensure delivery on scheduled date

Assist with the roll out of the Upstream Compliance module of the GRC system
Key requirements of the Prudential Compliance Specialist:

At least 3 years’ experience in a Financial Services/Regulatory Risk environment (prudential experience a distinct advantage)

A professional qualification within Compliance an advantage

Ability to meet key deadlines and work under pressure

Strong ability to think creatively and laterally in order to solve problems

Highly organised with an ability to work both collaboratively and independently in a multi-task and multi-focus environment

Strong communication and interpersonal skills
