Senior IT Auditor

Senior IT Auditor - Online Finance - Permanent - Dublin

A leading online financial services company are seeking a Senior IT Auditor on a permanent contract to be based in Dublin. In this role you will be responsible for supporting and leading all aspects of the audit lifecycle, including planning, fieldwork, and reporting. This role will also be responsible for partnering with the senior operations and financial auditor in oversight of the two regulated companies. The role will require strong communication ability with both internal and external stakeholders to achieve success.

Key responsibilities of the Senior IT Auditor:

• Perform internal IT audits and IT financial system testing, including assessing the internal control design and operating effectiveness and compliance with company policies and procedures and regulated requirements
• Evaluate all IT controls
• Complete the annual risk assessment and audit plan development
• Follow-up on open and past-due internal audit observations
• Aid in the coordination of third-party compliance assessments and external audits
• Establish appropriate audit scope and control objectives for the area under review
• Develop formal written reports to communicate audit results and recommendations to management, including technical and non-technical audiences
• Maintain effective relationships with auditees and external auditors

Key requirements of the Senior IT Auditor:

• At least a degree obtained in a relevant field i.e., Computer Science, IT etc.
• At least a CISA, CISSP, or applicable IT governance professional certification obtained
• Multiple years’ experience in a relevant role
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment
• Understanding IT control frameworks (COBIT, ISO NIST, ITIL).
• Ability to understand how new technology/regulations related to business processes.
• Excellent oral and written communication, internal customer service, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to meet key deadlines and work under pressure
