Risk Consultant - Maternity Cover
Key Responsibilities of a Risk Consultant:
- Implement cross-functional risk data management and operational improvement initiatives
- Using a risk-based sampling approach, perform an evidence-based review of vendor responses
- Own data integrity on vendor on-boarding and risk assessment platform
- Perform periodic audits on processes and controls
- Implement process controls and create dashboards to continuously monitor and mitigate process or data gaps
- Partner with various groups to ensure that process and data objectives for all stakeholders are met
- Own internal/external audit deliverables and ensure timely completion of risk mitigation activities
- Document key operational processes, system configurations and crucial vendors lists
- Perform ad-hoc project-based work, including reporting and analyses as required
- Partner with system owners to design and deliver high quality business solutions on the on-boarding platform, including third party integration's that help expand the scope and scale of risk vigilance
Key Requirements of a Risk Consultant:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent a must; Master’s degree holder in Risk Management preferred
- Experience in Risk/Audit management
- Hands on with reporting tools like PowerBI, Tableau etc. (preferred)
- Experience with ETL/data-prep tools like Alteryx, SnapLogic etc.
- Ability to analyse large data-sets and to organise and structure business optimisation projects
- Ability to translate project requirements into functional improvement plans
- Insights into third party risk management (TPRM) industry best methods to enhance functional operating models
- Familiar with data analysis methodologies, tools, and techniques
- Demonstrated Ability to dissect, collaborate, and delegate tasks to solve complex business problems
- Ability to paint exciting visuals for overall project designs and operating models to influence leadership
- Strong interpersonal relationship skills, with distinct ability to influence across organisation levels and teams with the ability to deal with ambiguity and agility
