Senior IT Risk Auditor - Permanent - Dublin - Multinational Firm

A large multi-national manufacturing and production firm based in South Dublin are seeking a Senior IT Risk Auditor to join their Internal Audit team on a full-time permanent contract. This is a great opportunity to join dynamic and diverse team with opportunities to progress and expand your skill set over time working with key Senior Management members. Having a background within IT/Risk and a willingness to expand knowledge in the other area is essential to being successful.

Key responsibilities of the Senior IT Risk Auditor:

• Utilise analytical skills to identify key risks and areas of testing as required
• Perform internal reviews on a range of IT areas and departments (e.g., cybersecurity, network security & governance reviews) comparing with IT standards across the board
• Apply IT risk knowledge and communications skills to advise on improvements while adding value to the Group IT processes and controls
• Assist in the development of local policies and procedures across information security systems and platforms
• Work with junior team members and share key knowledge and skills
• Travel across different offices in Europe, with opportunities to travel to America down the line

Key requirements of the Senior IT Risk Auditor:

• At least a bachelor’s degree obtained within a relevant field i.e., Computer Science, IT etc.
• A relevant information security/compliance certification is an advantage
• At least 4 years’ experience within a similar role (IT Audit, Risk Management/Compliance, IT Project Management)
• Strong communication ability
• Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure
• Willingness to travel abroad as required
