Compliance Auditor - Financial Services - Permanent - Dublin

A leading technology and financial services firm are seeking a Compliance Auditor to join their business on a full-time permanent basis, to be based in Dublin. This role offers an opportunity to grow your Audit experience with a global company and travel to conduct on-site audits ensuring that clients are meeting with compliance regulations. You will gain skills and abilities of the highest level within the Compliance and Audit space.

Key responsibilities of the role:

• Ensure all compliance testing and audit tasks are conducted and reported on within the approved methodologies, working documents and templates and in line with regulatory, accreditation and contractual requirements
• Maintain high standards for existing and new clients to enhance retention and growth for the business
• Plan compliance audit projects as needed and work with management to identify areas for improvement
• Provide feedback on document quality and improvement areas during post-review and escalate any issues to senior management
• Draft client invoices to be sent
• Manage key projects and assist on administrative duties if required
• Manage your travel schedule and confirm availability for travel in advance
• Ensure that operational, reputational and security risks are effectively managed through IT resources
• Acquire a full of understanding of the quality system - policies, procedures and work instructions

Key requirements of the role:

• At least a bachelor’s degree obtained in a relevant field i.e., Compliance, Mathematics, Audit, Finance
• IT certification of some degree is an advantage
• At least 2 years’ experience within Compliance and/or Audit and exposure to SOX or similar IT Risk/Control based audits
• Willing to travel to client sites and to the US is essential as it is required within the role
• Strong ability with Excel and MS Office
• Strong communication ability both written and verbal
• Passion for Audit
• Ability to work under pressure and meet key deadlines
• Proactive mindset and eager to learn
