Operational Risk Analyst - Dublin - Permanent - Financial Services
A leading Financial Services firm based in Dublin are seeking an Operational Risk Consultant on a permanent contract. This role is responsible for leading the implementation and embedding of an Operational Risk Management (ORM) framework. The operations of the framework will be consistent with the expectations of a ‘High Impact’ firm under the CBI’s PRISM supervision framework and aligned to the company framework. Key responsibilities of the Operational Risk Consultant:
- Manage and oversee the operation of the ORM framework, including:
- Facilitation of RCSA
- Review and challenge a full suite of risk policies
- Ensure the maintenance of the Operational Risk register
- Drive the appropriate usage of the Risk Administration System
- Work with ‘Risk Champions’ and Line 1 Assurance representatives across the business
- Deliver key training presentations on risk management related topics
- Develop and maintain Key Risk Indicator reviews and Risk Reporting
- Strong commercial focus on business priorities and key change programmes, providing an appropriate level of risk support and challenge.
- Lead 2 nd line of defence team members and interact cooperatively and productively with 1st line of defence to drive positive risk outcomes through the influence of key stakeholders, gaining executive buy-in
Key requirements of the Operational Risk Consultant:
- At least 4 years' experience in an Operational Risk related role with experience in 2nd or 3rd line of defence
- A relevant qualification within Risk or Compliance is an advantage
- Ability to lead key projects and delivery of key initiatives
- Strong problem solving ability
- Strong communication and ability to work with external and internal stakeholders
- Motivation to grow within the Risk space and continue evolving with updated regulations
