Compliance Officer - Financial Services - Dublin - Permanent

A leading Financial Services firm are seeking a Compliance Officer on a permanent role based in Dublin. In this role you will ensure all regulatory requirements are met and the compliance frameworks are adhered too. Within the role you will work very close with the Head of Compliance and gain a great opportunity to learn across a wide range of disciplines within Compliance.

Key responsibilities of the Compliance Officer:

• Manage and develop risk-based Compliance Frameworks to ensure it is up to date and effective
• Complete compliance reviews, ensuring adherence to key relevant regulations.
• Provide compliance and regulatory operational and strategic advice
• Assist with the management of regulatory matters and compliance issues in all jurisdictions where the business operates
• Review and manage compliance policies and procedures
• Assist in the implementation of the Fitness & Probity Regime
• Aid in the oversight of any outsourced AML/CTF activities
• Assist with the production of management information, reports and regulatory updates for presentation to senior management, the Board and relevant committees

Key requirements of the Compliance Officer:

• At least 2 years’ compliance experience in a regulated financial services environment
• At least a bachelor’s degree obtained within a relevant field i.e. Business, Finance etc.
• Strong knowledge and of regulatory frameworks, including MiFID/R, Market Conduct Risk, AML/CTF and other relevant Irish and European codes
• Strong understanding of Financial Crime and key requirements within this area
• Highly organized, reliable, able to meet deadlines, self-motivated with the capacity to work autonomously, as part of a team and across teams
• Strong analytical ability and communication skills
