Data Operations Analyst - Dublin - Financial Services - Permanent

A leading financial services firm are seeking a Data Operations Analyst on a permanent contract, based in Dublin. In this role you will be will be executing on critical projects that involve data remediation across the company’s source systems and or automating manual functions using Robotic Process Automation software. This is an exciting opportunity for a Data Analyst looking to grow their portfolio in an exciting new area.

Key responsibilities of the Data Operations Analyst:

• Manage mid to large scale data remediation and automation initiatives in the Data Enablement space in accordance with project management methods
• Demonstrate an understanding of how various Capital Market products are set up and maintained within company trading systems
• Analyse and manage large data sets in various systems & provide upward feedback and analysis with reports as appropriate
• Develop RPA solutions to simplify Data Enablement functions and functions across departments as required
• Aid other team members across business functions in key projects, developing and testing all key areas
• Facilitate and manage key process drivers, root or systemic causes of cross functional operational issues including risk events, interpret findings and make recommendations
• Provide technical subject matter expertise and analysis to Partners in Global Operations and business Services where required

Key requirements of the Data Operations Analyst:

• At least a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field alongside 2 years’ minimum experience working in capital markets
• Strong knowledge of SQL, VBA and Python
• Strong experience with RPA solutions
• Project management ability and able to meet key deadlines
• Strong organisational, problem-solving, interpersonal, leadership and time management skills
• Strong communication ability and a good work ethic and drive
