A new role as arisen in Dublin with a leading Aviation company for a Finance Assistant. Knowledge of aircraft leasing is an advantage but not essential.
Key responsibilities of Finance Assistant:
- Preparation of invoices to be sent to lessees for lease rentals, maintenance reserves etc
- Track the payment of invoices, sending chasers to lessees and maintaining Aged Debtors/Arrearage Listing
- Update of all invoices and maintenance of Group’s helicopter database
- Track and monitor Group bank accounts and reconciliations of Groups online banking system
- Submission of invoices into Accounts Payable System, and preparation of payment runs where applicable
- Assist in the opening and closing of bank accounts across the Group
- Process LEI renewals and central bank returns
- Assisting Tax Manager with VAT/VIES returns
- Perform general administration tasks as required for the Finance Team
Key requirements of Finance Assistant:
- Excellent attention to detail
- Organised and capable of meeting often challenging deadlines under pressure
- Adaptable and flexible under pressure while maintaining a calm demeanour
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Self-motivated and keen to work in a fast-paced dynamic environment
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, in particular Excel
