Senior IT System Administrator

Our client is a leading Reinsurance company based in Dublin South. They are keen for an experienced Senior IT System Administrator to join their growing team on a permanent basis. This is an exciting opportunity to join a global company with endless opportunities for growth and development.

Responsibilities of Senior IT System Administrator:

• Provides technical expertise in the area of system administration for complex operating systems
• Help to develop, document, communicate, and enforce a network technology policy
• Responsible for the installation and configuration of new software and hardware, including the server network, devices and firewalls
• Monitoring system performance, operations and storage utilisation
• Creation and management of user accounts

Skills & Attributes of Senior IT System Administrator:

• 5-8 years of professional experience working in a similar position
• A degree in a relevant field is advantageous
• Experience and working knowledge in the following technologies: Windows 10, Windows Server 2016, Office 365, Adobe, SharePoint Online, Active Directory, OneDrive, Microsoft Teams, Azure Cloud, SandBlast, CheckPoint, Duo Multi Factor Authentication, Sophos Antivirus, BitLocker, Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager – SCCM, Microsoft Sentinel, VMVare
• Excellent project management skills
