Employee Relations Specialist
Our client is a global Insurance company looking for an experienced Employee Relations Specialist to join their team on an initial 6 month basis. This role can be based from Dublin, Derry or Belfast. It is an exciting opportunity to join such a big company with potential for contract to be extended.
Responsibilities of Employee Relations Specialist:
- Advice and coaching to employees on policies and programs, employment legislation in accordance with company policies and procedure
- Create and support a positive working environment & relations
- Develop and manage investigation plans, reviewing policy and training gaps proactively to improve employee relations experience
- Assist with the development of performance improvement plan
- Provide insights and intelligence with respect to trends and opportunities
- Monitor external markets and trends to keep up with best practise
Skills & Attributes of Employee Relations Specialist:
- 3+ years experience in an Employee Relations or similar role
- CIPD Qualification or relevant working experience
- Demonstrate good awareness of HR legislation, HR policies and application
- Previous experience in advising and coaching managers
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to work in a team-based environment
