Employee Relations Specialist

Our client is a global Insurance company looking for an experienced Employee Relations Specialist to join their team on an initial 6 month basis. This role can be based from Dublin, Derry or Belfast. It is an exciting opportunity to join such a big company with potential for contract to be extended.

Responsibilities of Employee Relations Specialist:

• Advice and coaching to employees on policies and programs, employment legislation in accordance with company policies and procedure
• Create and support a positive working environment & relations
• Develop and manage investigation plans, reviewing policy and training gaps proactively to improve employee relations experience
• Assist with the development of performance improvement plan
• Provide insights and intelligence with respect to trends and opportunities
• Monitor external markets and trends to keep up with best practise

Skills & Attributes of Employee Relations Specialist:

• 3+ years experience in an Employee Relations or similar role
• CIPD Qualification or relevant working experience
• Demonstrate good awareness of HR legislation, HR policies and application
• Previous experience in advising and coaching managers
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to work in a team-based environment
