Regulatory Reporting Accountant
A well known multinational bank is looking to hire a Regulatory Reporting Accountant for a 6-12 month FTC to join a team of 5. Open to either part qualified or qualified candidates so salary range is €50,000 - €70,000 DOE. Ability to work on a feleixble hybrid model or else remote if not based close to the office.
A well known multinational bank Dublin City Centre is looking to hire a Regulatory Reporting Accountant for a 6-12 month FTC to join a team of 5. In this role you will provide support to the Regulatory Reporting team in the production of the monthly and quarterly reporting of information the Central Bank of Ireland and ensuring compliance with the frameworks, processes and procedures used by the team.
For this role, they are open to both Part Qualified or Qualified candidates so salary range is €50,000 - €70,000 depending on experience. For this role they work in the office two days a week and three days remotely but there is an option to work remotely if not based in Dublin.
Key Responsibilities of the Regulatory Reporting Accountant:
- Preparing and assisting in the timely and accurate preparation of Statistical and Prudential reporting to the CBI.
- Engaging with other functions (including Financial Reporting, Front Office/ Lines of Business, Corporate Treasury, Risk Management and Operations) to ensure that all management and financial information required for the completion of regulatory reporting returns is received on a timely and accurate basis.
- Supporting the team and CFO as and when required.
- Ensure BME’s ongoing compliance with new regulatory reporting requirements.
- Ensuring all internal regulatory procedures are updated in a timely fashion.
- Ensuring that the regulatory reporting system in place (WKFS) is from end to end as automated as possible, up to date (upgrades) and linked into correct processes and procedures.
- Assisting in the development of internal IT systems for Regulatory Reporting purposes.
- Continuously seek to improve current processes within the Regulatory Reporting Department.
Key Responsibilities of the Regulatory Reporting Accountant:
- The successful candidate will ideally have previous experience in a similar role (statistical and prudential reporting) or other relevant experience within financial services.
- Experience of working with the regulatory reporting system WKFS is desirable, but not essential.
- Accountancy qualification desirable but not essential
- Knowledge of the main banking products and their regulatory treatment is desirable, but not essential.
- Track record of demonstrating flexibility to work as part of a small team.
- Clearly demonstrable administrative, organizational, communication and presentation skills necessary to deliver the clarity, transparency, process and timely delivery required in a regulated entity Finance department.
- IT skills including excel; word and power point.
- Highly motivated, pro-active individual with the ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team.
