A rapidly expanding Veterinary group with multiple centres across Dublin and Kildare with further plans to grow have a newly created position for an Accounting Technician to join their expanding team. This is a very varied role and you will work closely with an external accountancy team also.
A rapidly expanding Veterinary group with multiple centres across Dublin and Kildare with further plans to grow have a newly created position for an Accounting Technician to join their expanding team. This is a very varied role and you will work closely with an external accountancy team also.
This company has an excellent culture and a great place to work for animal lovers with some staff taking their dog’s to work with them also. Salary is €35,000 - €40,000 range DOE. The office is based in Lucan but will be moving to brand new offices in Celbridge, Kildare in 2024. Key Responsibilities of the Bookkeeper
• Assisting in the preparation of monthly management accounts
• Creation of reports for management and shareholders
• Budget control & variance reporting
• Balance sheet reconciliations (banks, creditors etc.)
• Recording revenues
• Responsibility for debtors and debt management
• Bank payments to creditors
• General bookkeeping duties
• Extracting and manipulating data from our practice management software
• Other ad hoc duties as required
Key Requirements of the Bookkeeper
• Atleast two years experience in a varied finance role
• ATI Qualified is beneficial
• Problem solver and enjoy working in a team environment
If you have strong numerical, organisational and interpersonal skills and love seeing animals in work every day this could be a great role for you. Computer literacy essential, fluent in English both written and oral. The candidate must be proficient in the use of Excel, Powerpoint, Word and Outlook. Training will be provided on our in-house software packages.
