A well known multinational Financial Services company based in Dublin City Centre (two days office/three days from home) have a newly created requirement position for a Part Qualified Accountant to join a well established team which offers great career progression and work culture. This position provides the opportunity to gain full exposure to the Goodbody Finance function. The candidate will hold a broad range of responsibilities across the financial control function within the department. Salary is in the €40,000 - €55,000 range DOE plus benefits and two days in the office, three days from home.

Key responsibilities of the Part Qualified Accountant – Financial Services
- Cost reporting - responsible for working with the cost accountant in preparing month end cost reports
- Analysing invoice postings to ensure correct cost centre and general ledger classification
- Managing accounts receivable function
- Management accounts preparation for subsidiaries
- Preparing and posting journals using SAP General ledger on a monthly basis.
- Assisting with the Accounts payable process including the administration and reporting of Company Visa card spend.
- Working with the team on ad hoc projects during the year.
Key requirements of the Part Qualified Accountant – Financial Services
- Atleast two years Accountancy experience in a similar role
- Excellent knowledge of excel such as pivot tables and lookups
- Experience in Financial Services is beneficial
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication sills
- Working in a team setting
- High levels of personal initiative and ambition to progress career.
