Payroll Specialist

One of the World’s Leading Hotels is seeking a Payroll Specialist to join their team located in Dublin city centre. They now have an excellent opportunity for a Payroll Specialist with responsibility for the payroll function and Hotel Cashier, to join their professional and service driven team.

Key responsibilities of Payroll Specialist:

• Processing weekly and monthly payroll to a high standard

• Create weekly and monthly analysis reports for departmental managers

• Processing of payroll journals and balance sheet reconciliation monthly

• Act as Hotel Cashier

• Any ad hoc tasks assigned by the Financial Controller

Key requirements of Payroll Specialist:

Essential:

• Previous Irish payroll experience

• Strong working knowledge of the Irish tax system

• Strong numeracy skills

Preferable:

• Strong working knowledge of Sage Micropay and Time Management System (TMS)

• Previous work experience in the hospitality sector

• Attention to detail
• Strong accountancy skills

• Strong numeric ability

• Excellent interpersonal skills

• Ideally hold a relevant payroll qualification
